This photograph depicts an abandoned grain silo and its small weigh-station hut on the outskirts of Bujaraloz, Aragón — relics of an agricultural infrastructure that has slowly faded from use. I captured this scene on a rare overcast day. In Aragón, the sky is usually clear and unforgiving, so the arrival of heavy storm clouds created the perfect conditions: a dramatic, moody backdrop that deepened the tones of the structures and added a sense of weight to the composition.

What drew me to this location is the contrast between forms. The tall, monolithic silo rises with an almost architectural authority, while the small hut in the foreground. Together, they tell a story of scale, function, and decline — two structures built for purpose, now standing in quiet abandonment.
