This is one of the ghost railway stations of the never completed and abandoned Calanda → Alcorisa → Teruel line in Spain.

Started in the 1920s but never finished or used, the entire project was left to decay after the Civil War, becoming a chain of silent architectural relics scattered across Aragón.

This particular station is one of the most well-preserved examples still standing, and always a pleasure to photograph. Inside the structure, layers of modern graffiti contrast sharply with the building’s century-old stonework — a reminder of how forgotten places continue to accumulate stories long after their original purpose has vanished.

The colours and shapes of the graffiti sprayed on the walls form an unintended dialogue with the light and shadow passing through the arches, adding a contemporary echo to an otherwise abandoned space.
